Historic Building

Skinners hall a 450 year old, with the basement being even older, historic building in the center of London. HBA were hired as advisors and consultants to manage restore and preserve the decorative plaster ceilings, mouldings and the famous Jupp fascade. The work entailed conservation, archeology and of course ensuring the refurbishment works last at least another hundred years.

The challenges were huge, preparing agreed documentation with English Heritage and preseving historic elements. The work done by Neil produced a better legacy than the 1930's attempt at restoration so Skinners hall will survive to be enjoyed all and sundry.

This sort of restoration and protection of historical buildings is what HBA is best at. Large or small Heritage Building advice preserves our buildings and allows future generations to enjoy our great English heritage.
